Celebrating International Women’s Day 2024 with Jennifer Scott

Join the Zone 8 Public Image Team as we host the International Women’s Day webinar with Jennifer Scott AM, our incoming Zones 8 & 10 Rotary International Director for 2025 – 2027. Jennifer will speak on “Inspire Inclusion” the theme for this year.
Jennifer lives in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia. A lawyer and mediator specialising in environment law and conflict resolution, she is passionate about peace building and ecological sustainability.
Jennifer is involved in several not-for-profit boards, including Sustainable Cambodia, Varuna, the National Writers’ House and the Katoomba and Upper Blue Mountains Bendigo Bank. Together with her husband, Ian, she has led teams of project volunteers to Pursat in Cambodia, and a Vocational Training Team to Mongolia upskilling judges and social workers in family mediation and conflict management skills.
A member of the Rotary Club of Central Blue Mountains, Jennifer served as Governor in 2007-08. She is the chair of the 2024 Singapore International Convention Committee. Jennifer has served as a Training Leader, Seminar Trainer, and Moderator at previous International Assemblies, and chair of the Rotary International Constitution and By-law committee. She is a Technical Coordinator for the Rotary Foundation Environment AOF and a member of Digital Events & Engagement Task force. Jennifer has been awarded the Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service. In 2023 Jennifer was recognised as a Member of the Order of Australia. Together with her husband, Ian, they are major donors, and bequest society members.
